2008 - 4th Ankiros International Foundry Congress

4th International Ankiros Foundry Congress, which is decided to organize bi annually by the Turkish Foundrymen’s Association, will be held on 2008 October, 16-19 in İstanbul concurrently with Ankiros / Annofer / Turkcast 2008 Fairs.

This year, Ankiros Foundry Congress will be organized concurrently with the 14th International Metallurgy and Materials Congress. These events are expected to be a platform of presenting and sharing the latest technologies of the industry.

The aim of this congress is to provide to share common subjects about casting sector and adopt academic, technologic, financial, commercial and executive information and experiences to the participants. Our aim is to provide our foundries to compete in scientific area with developed countries where they have been already accepted their product quality.

The theme of this congress is determined as “Interndustry cooperation for global competition”

The Opening Ceremony of the Fairs and Congresses will be honored with attendance the public authorities.

On the 2nd day of congress (October, 17), 30 proceedings will be presented in two different halls with 6 sessions. Proceedings will be translated simultaneously English to Turkish in all halls.

Our Congress’s traditional Foundrymen’s Night will be held in October, 16 Thursday evening in Tüyap fair area.

At Foundrymen's Night, plaquette of thanks will be submitted to our Sponsor Companies' representatives.
